Summertime

Here is my layout of my daughter and my niece last summer. I miss the green grass and warm weather, doing this layout reminded me that it's not too far away!

I used the Cosmo Cricket Snorkel papers, letters and embellishments. I loved this line, I thought it was such a versatile summer line....not just for boys!

Here is my layout of Emily finishing up her swimming lessons this past summer. I used the Karen Foster Swim team line - the papers are Swim Tiles, and the stickers are from the Swim Team as well. The cardstock was Prism - classic red.

Christopher's Swim Meet

I used the Karen Foster Swim Team line for this layout. The papers are Swimming lanes, the stickers are Swim Team, and the brads are from the swimming line as well. I used Prism classic red as the coordinating cardstock, and as usual I used my signo uniball white pen for journaling.

All Day Scrapbooking - January 31st, 2010

Here we are with another All Day event! The crowd was great, once again (but aren't they always?) and we met some new friends this time. I decided that I would start to work on my new calendars for 2011 in the hopes of finally getting them done well ahead of the December deadline, but I'm not sure if I'll ever be that good! I did get a few pages done in the midst of all the talking and food preparation.
The door prize was won by Tracey, it was the Best Friends album and papers by Bo Bunny. Congratulations, and I'm looking forward to seeing what it looks like when she has it done!

We're already booking our next day, it's going to be April 11th, hope to see many of the same faces there as well as some new ones. Now I just have to start thinking about the next loot bags!

Pics from the All Day - November 15th, 2009

We had a great time during the All Day! It was my first time hosting one outside of my own home, and they day went by so fast - I couldn't believe it!
The girls were all great, a very friendly and personable bunch - all helping each other and sharing tools! I couldn't have asked for a better group to scrap with, as I even managed to do some work of my own on my calendars.
I'm looking forward to hosting it again, possibly the last Sunday in January of 2010.
