My Little Yellow Bicycle: Baby Safari: Our Sweet Girl layout

This layout was designed by Renee Foss, and it is really cute! I obviously have not yet placed my pictures on the layout, but I will be adding them shortly. The card that goes with this kit is also very cute.
The kits are available at my online scrapbooking store if you are interested in making exactly as shown. It includes full packages of all the embellishments shown, which leaves a lot of leftovers - which I love, for making more cards or even extra layouts.

Fancy Pants: Kraft Kuts

My layout for the boys that I was inspired to do after I saw something similar in a magazine. I used the Fancy Pants Kraft Kuts papers - Be Dotted, and the Arrow Half Bracket Die Cut paper laid on top of Prism cardstock Tawny Light. Unfortunately for those of you who are really looking closely, you'll notice that I did put the right side page upside down.....oops! I find it hard to get layouts for teenage boys that capture their personalities - they don't very often let you take pictures of them anymore, and they don't play in the sandbox, so what is there to do?? The layout that I borrowed this idea from had a great idea for the journalling - it was about things that I have learned about since I was the Mom of boys. I put down some of the video game names, some of the songs that they listen to, a couple of terms of their slang that they think is so cool. I am still in the process of thinking of additional journalling, so I do plan on filling out that page!

School Days Layout

I have thought about how to keep my children's school year memories all-together in one spot, and yet be able to fit it all into a two-page 12x12 layout so it will fit into my scrapbook.
I came across this idea and worked on it to suit my style, and hold the keepsakes that I was interested in. It has plastic paper protectors stapled and overlapped on each other, which is where I put report cards, art, some of my daughters projects that she worked on, as well as awards. I used the Karen Foster Textbook Doodles papers, and the diecuts were done with my cricut.

New Layout Ideas with My Mind's Eye

Using the "Summer" Collection from My Mind's Eye Breaking Free paper line, I was inspired to capture our day at Canada's Wonderland. The colours are bright and fun, and reflected our enjoyment at the park that day!
For this layout, I used 3 of the "Summer" Roller Coaster papers (they are double sided, and I used the third one for cutting out my title and backing the photos on the left side of the layout), the "Summer" frame transparency for the main photo on the left side of the layout, and the "Summer" title.
